SUMMARY:National Back to Church Sunday
DESCRIPTION:CALVARY JOINS 30\,000 CHURCHES IN NATIONAL BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY\n\n\n\nCalvary Baptist Church (320 Lincoln Street) in Rhinelander invites the community to attend church on National Back to Church Sunday on September 15. Together with over 30\,000 churches representing 120 denominations in all 50 states and 90 countries around the world\, Calvary extends an open invitation to those who have never attended church or to those who once attended but don't anymore\, to come to their worship service at 10:30 a.m. Since its inception in 2009\, churches participating in National Back to Church Sunday have extended millions of invitations to people in their communities. The movement began when 2009 survey research indicated that 82% of people said they would attend church if someone they knew invited them but only 2% of church members were inviting people to come with them to their church. \n\n\n\n"In the fall\, we go back to school\, we go back to football and we want to encourage people to go back to church. The special focus of this national event reminds us how important it is to invite others to connect with Jesus Christ in the Northwoods. There are so many good churches in our area. We are praying for people to attend one this Sunday\," said Rod Ankrom\, pastor at Calvary Baptist Church. "This year's theme is 'Come Together.' We invite people to come to church to find a gathering of people who are growing together spiritually\, applying their faith to everyday challenges and who help and support one another as well as our community."\n\n \n\nFor more information about Calvary Baptist Church\, go to www.ExploreCalvary.com\, connect on Facebook.
