Enjoy a night at the movies as the Wisconsin Brass Quintet performs selections from Austin Powers, The Incredibles, La La Land, On the Waterfront, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Soul, West Side Story, and more. Regarded as one of the “superb brass ensembles in the USA” by MusicWeb International, praised for “remarkable musicianship and versatility” by International Trumpet Guild Journal, the widely acclaimed Wisconsin Brass Quintet (WBQ) has maintained a position at the forefront of brass chamber music since the group’s founding in 1972. Current members include: Jean Laurenz, trumpet; Gilson da Silva, trumpet; Daniel Grabois; horn; Mark Hetzler, trombone; Tom Curry, tuba; and special guest Matthew Endres, drum set. Please note: masks are required in all Nicolet College buildings, and this event will have limited seating capacity to allow for social distancing.
