Event Description:
The United Methodist Women (UMW) will be holding its Christmas Cookie Sale on Friday, December 10, 2021 at ArtStart, located in downtown Rhinelander, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. or until sold out. There will be a variety of homemade Christmas cookies and candy available. This year, due to Covid protocols, the cookies will be prepackaged, with 6 cookies or pieces of candy to a sealed, Ziploc bag. The price is $8.00/ pound. This Christmas Cookie Sale is an important ministry and fund-raising event for our UMW as money from the cookie sale will support global and local community programs. The Personal Essentials Pantry, located at the First United Methodist Church, is offered twice a month and supplies personal hygiene items and cleaning products for people who cannot otherwise afford them. UMW also supports NATH, and programs supplying snow pants and boots for needy children.
