Event Description:
Tuesday, September 10, 1 p.m., Please Join the Rhinelander District Library Board and Staff to celebrate the Re-Opening of the Carnegie Entrance. This historic entrance was closed in 1984 at the time of the addition. Funds were provided by private donation. Additional funds provided by the Rhinelander Masonic Lodge #242, Re-store the Door campaign.
Originally opened November 5, 1904, the cornerstone encloses a time capsule from the Rhinelander Masonic Lodge and the Rhinelander Woman's Club stocked many of the shelves. Learn about the original Carnegie space, and the improved entryway during this celebration.
This, and all Rhinelander District Library Programs are free and open to the public.
