Event Description:
2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the tragic events that shook the United States on September 11, 2001. On Saturday, September 11, the community is invited to come together at 9:11 am at Pioneer Park in Rhinelander to honor our heroes, remember the events of 9/11 and pray for America. This event will be held “rain or shine” – participants may want to bring a lawn chair. This is not a political event.
Event organizer, Pastor Rod Ankrom (Calvary Baptist Church, Rhinelander) commented: “Twenty years ago, we promised to ‘never forget’ – twenty years later, our nation stands in desperate need. We are hoping that people can take a brief time to gather and pray for our nation.”
