    Date: February 14, 2022
    Time: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM CST
    Event Description:
The Oneida County Health Department will be administering COVID-19 vaccine for 5-11 year olds. Pfizer BioNtech COVID-19 vaccine was recently approved under emergency use authorization by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for kids ages 5-11. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) have both recommended the vaccine for this age group as well. Through rigorous clinic trials, the CDC has confirmed that the vaccine is safe and effective for 5-11 year olds. Receiving a COVID-19 vaccination is one of the best ways to help protect children from severe COVID-19 illness and helps stop the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Vaccines are free of charge regardless of insurance status. Appointments are required and can be scheduled online at www.oneidacountypublichealth.org or by calling 715-401-4150. The child’s guardian must be present for the appointment. This vaccine clinic is only for 5-11 year olds.
